The Posie Place online shop & all deliveries will be closed for the holidays from the 23rd of December and will reopen on the 2nd of February. We look forward to seeing your smiling faces & friendly phone calls in the new year for all your flower delivery needs. Due to Covid 19 our wedding schedule is very busy in January, so we will still be working behind the scenes creating some floral magic for our gorgeous couples. About us

The Posie Place is a creative flower studio based in Lara servicing the Geelong, Bellarine, Surf Coast & Werribee areas and offers a daily delivery service.

Pushing the boundaries of traditional floristry

The Posie Place caters for a broad range of floral design including classic, boho and contemporary, designing anything from a simple bouquet through to large-scale works.

Owner and head designer Rachelle has always had a passion for gardening, styling and fashion which lead her to floristry. She designs out of her home-based studio which provides the perfect balance of work and family life allowing her creativity to thrive.

Rachelle regularly attends industry training and workshops. She is dedicated to keep on learning and refining her craft and likes to keep up to date with current trends and techniques.

Hand picked and curated

Rachelle hand selects all flower and foliage used in the studio herself, directly from the growers at the Melbourne Flower market, David Austin Growers and Premium Peonies to bring you only the freshest and highest quality blooms.

Rachelle loves working with brides and is dedicated to bringing the brides ideas from concept to reality. Leaving nothing to chance she covers all bases when working with a client to ensure there are no surprises on the day, providing vase and arbour hire directly from the studio.

Her favourite flowers are locally grown peonies, according to Rachelle there is nothing like Australian grown field flowers and their intoxicating scent.
